Take a boat trip in Chiclana
There is a journey you can take that up the Guadalquivir River all the way to the Doñana Natural Park. This leisurely trip takes about three and a half hours. There are two stops along the way. Visitors get the chance to see some fascinating bird life and an old run down Andalucian village. If you are coming back in late afternoon, you might catch one of the spectacular sunsets the area is renowned for.

Remember to book in advance. Tickets can be purchased in the Old Ice Factory in Sanlucar de Barrameda, a short distance away. Go to a horse show
The nearby town of Jerez holds a horse show on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12.00pm. It’s run by the ‘Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Ecuestre’, one of the most well known riding schools in Spain.

These beautiful creatures are expertly trained. You will see all sorts of complicated riding techniques and choreographed dances performed perfectly.

There is a laser light show too and it’s pretty good. And of course, flamenco music.
It’s held in the Recreo de las Cadenas Palace – a fantastic setting…it can hold up to 1,600 people and dates back to the 19th century.
