Grazalema National Park is about an hour's drive from Chiclana and has many little towns and villages spread out over its mountainous regions, which are called the Pueblos Blancos. They are known as the “Pueblo Blancos” or white villages. You’ll find the park to the east of Arcos de la Frontera.

These towns are well known for their dramatic locations – usually clinging to the mountainsides, and also for their brilliant white houses.

First stop – Arcos de la Frontera. Perched on top of a large cliff, it stands out dramatically and dominates the landscape. It is also well known for it’s stunning lake.

As you travel south towards the Alcornocales National park, the landscape become less hilly and more flat. Visit the town of Ubrique, which is excellent for leather goods. A number of towns in this area have leather factories. Their streets are full of factory shops selling leather goods - everything you could imagine: coats, bags, shoes, wallets etc. You’ll find some great bargains.
